ADDRESS CHANGES FOR REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY BILLS
Have you recently moved or changed your mailing address? If so, did you notify the Board of Assessors? If not, then your Real Estate & Personal Property Bills are being sent to the incorrect address!
If you have moved or changed your mailing address in any way, including changing to or from a P.O. Box, the Erving Board of Assessor’s Office must be notified.
You can notify us in three ways:
By Phone: 413-422-2800, ext 107
By Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
By Mail: 12 East Main Street, Erving MA 01344
MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE BILL ADDRESS CHANGES
It is your responsibility to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of your address change. You may do that online at http://www.mass.gov/rmv/ or through your Automobile Insurance Agent. We cannot change your address in the Assessor’s office; it must be done at the RMV or through your insurance agent.
Please remember that if you do not change your address with the RMV, your bills will continue to go to the last address of record.
YOU ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAX BILLS INCLUDING REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND MOTOR VEHICLE EVEN IF THEY ARE MAILED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS
