ADDRESS CHANGES FOR REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY BILLS
Have you recently moved or changed your mailing address? If so, did you notify the Board of Assessors? If not, then your Real Estate & Personal Property Bills are being sent to the incorrect address!
If you have moved or changed your mailing address in any way, including changing to or from a P.O. Box, the Erving Board of Assessor’s Office must be notified.
You can notify us in three ways:

MOTOR VEHICLE EXCISE BILL ADDRESS CHANGES
It is your responsibility to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of your address change. You may do that online at http://www.mass.gov/rmv/ or through your Automobile Insurance Agent. We cannot change your address in the Assessor’s office; it must be done at the RMV or through your insurance agent.
Please remember that if you do not change your address with the RMV, your bills will continue to go to the last address of record.
YOU ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAX BILLS INCLUDING REAL ESTATE, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND MOTOR VEHICLE EVEN IF THEY ARE MAILED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS

Who Is The Municipal Clerk And Where Is He/She Located At Town Hall?
The Municipal Clerk is Betsy Sicard. Betsy can be found in the following offices on the following days and hours:

•Thursday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
» Tax Collector's Office
•Monday: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
•Thursday: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
What Is A 'Municipal Clerk'?
The Municipal Clerk is a full time employee who works in the Selectmen's Office for the Selectmen and assists the Town Administrator. The Municipal Clerk is also available to help other Boards (i.e. Conservation Commission, Recreation Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, etc.) when they are in need of assistance. The Municipal Clerk is also responsible for the duties of the Town Administrator during the Administrator's absence.

with any Board of Health questions or concerns.
What Else Does The Municipal Clerk Do?
The Municipal Clerk in the Town of Erving is also an assistant to the Town Clerk. Therefore, the Municipal Clerk is available to do dog licenses, certified marriage, birth and death certificates, look up vital record information and assist with voter registration and questions. The Municipal Clerk, as Assistant Town Clerk is also responsible for the duties of the Town Clerk in his/her absence (i.e. town meetings, swearing in of new elected officials, etc.).
Presently the Municipal Clerk also holds the position of Assistant Tax Collector and holds specific hours (listed above) in that office.
